It's impressive and all, but I must say, I'm not the slightest bit interested :(

I was honestly expecting an 'exo' buggy along the lines of the HPI and Axial offerings.

Its a true RC Veyron! As in its an awesome piece of engineering designed to shatter existing standards for speed, but ends up absurdly expensive and of limited use.

Its a fantastic piece of technology, and will look amazing in their catalog - but how many people actually have the space or skills for that matter? Most times I see 60mph+ cars their owners are struggling to control them.

Nice design and all but....

toughness? Crashing at 100+mph ...

And how long will the batteries actually last?

*Unlock the 100+mph speed only with the Traxxas Link App

Taken officially from traxxas.com

You have to get an ipod, iphone etc to go 100mph!!! :omgblinky:

I'm beginning to think that this could provide a lot of fun, but only if you restrict its speed down to the 50-60 mph range. At those speeds its larger size might make it manageable. Just!

Traxxas have named it x-o1 so possibly that may mean they are coming out with a new line of cars called the X-0's: X-01, X-02 etc..
This may also mean they might come out with an off road version??<-----

It's not the XL, just a Mamba Monster Pro with additional capacitors (which are just bridged in to the +/- of the wires).

Batteries will last a while to be honest, I'd guess 15min on something like this, it's designed to go fast so it will be very efficent.

It looks like you can remove the aerodynamic pates so that means you could put 1/8th buggy wheels on it. But also a short course body by raising the mounts and adjusting the speed with the TQ i system by traxxas with your i pod or i phone. Making it the worlds craziest off road rc apart from Nicks insanity project.
