After being told about this location from my dad some time ago, we decided to go check it out, not expecting much.
As you can imagine, our jaws dropped when we got up here, pictures can't show how good this site is, but i've tried to get as much of it in as possible

As far as i know, it is pretty much used for trials motorcycle competitions and meets (Huddersfield Falcons), but isnt accessable properly with cars.

A few of us are heading up tomorrow, i'm sure we could get some sort of track going or something, the place is huge!

I wish I lived somewhere like where you do.

The Midlands is as terrible for bash spots as it is sunshine...

Great find though, probably one to consider for an MSUK bash if there is good parking. It looks isolated, very good, and very fun.

Edited the Thread title to Show what we've been doing to the Quarry, which our plan is to make a fun and simple track, for some pretty cool short course racing.

When we got up there tonight, it looked something like this, bit wet, as you can see!


We then got to work on the drainage, which should be fine for now!


You can see the basic layout of the track now, the position where the picture was took is where we stand, It's a good position, and can see all around the track


And another  one from the top sweeping corner coming onto the straight


Pretty much the latest photo, the berm in the bottom right is coming along really well, the jump is also, with a few minor changes needed for the landing, but it's coming along nicely!



Expect plenty more pictures and videos later on!
