Is that a steady play about or a good hammering ?
I too will be starting my project soon , bought the mount yesterday , got a useable motor and pinion for the time being , just need a buggy and an ESC
I'll do it as cheap as possible at first and then upgrade

Bit of both, If you really give it some stick about 15 mins bit less maybe but if you drive like 1/2 throttle most of the time 20mins +

20 mins sounds good to me
I guess illfind out as I've just got my self a PBS
I'm runnin -
2650kv (I think)
Turbighy 150a esc
And a 14th pinion that will be a 17 tomorro
I just need a body shell now that doesn't have the engine hole cut out
Oh running it 4 cell too

Well today was exciting, Whilst driving round the garden the hyper decides to go flat out into a bench and smashed the bench over which landed on the shell resulting in this.

My guess is the RX was at fault as it kept going dodgy at nunroyd (last time i ran it) didin't ever break a arm which i find amazing! Broke a body post and the rear brace snapped off but that was all the damage.
It appears the rx wire got chewed up in the driveshaft dog bones thing which caused it do go flat out.

I guess that as bad as it sounds , it's a good job it went in the garden and and not out on the street or the park but good to hear the rest of things held up well
