was £43 plus post for a Carson TL-01 tuningset from geedee models includes:
shocks x4
full ball race kit
sport tuned gears

dunno if thats a good price or not but it was deff cheaper than getting individuals

yeh shocks are way betr than the stock ones they're oil filled and have an adjuster at the top to vary the spring height instead of having to shim it

Hey. Thats my mate in real life and he doesnt come on the forum anymore. The best place is usually ebay for second hand tamiyas. A rolling chassis usually goes for a max of £20, which is a bargain! If you wanted a brand new chassis your looking towards £60-70 for one.

Hope this helps! :good:

This is a great little thread this, I was looking at the motor that was recommended in the first post but its discontinued here :o, can anyone recommend something else for my TT-01 or somewhere else I can get the motor.

My tt-01 is ballraced and I have an Aluminium Propshaft.  I want to get a bit more speed out of it.  What other things can people suggest to me that might do the trick ^^

Hi btw, Im new(ish, been lurking) to the place :D

beast .... but its a 19t and if you got the stock esc you probs cant run it

http://www.modelspor...mp;ItemID=26337

thats good too and its a 27t so it will work if you got the stock esc ... the only problem i got with that motor is that my esc kept over heating ( the stock tamiya one )

hope this helps , vinnie
