Bought my 9 year old a NB16T to introduce him to the world of Nitro - Ok so its not the best truggy in the world but he is happy with it and it is ideal for the street due to its size.

However, does anyone know if they can be converted to be started by a starter wand ?

Hpi trophy 3.5 starting to pi** me off!

My hpi trophy has been nothing but trouble. I've only nearly put 2.5 litres off fuel through it from new and here's the problems I've come across so far...
.steering servo broke so replaced with metal gear savox one
.pull start cable broke so I replaced then the spring went so gave up and brought roto start
.rear hub bearings seized so replaced but with rubber seals
.front hub threads stripped new one replaced
.some how seam to have lost rear drive shaft (only happened today)
.one way bearing cracked so replaced
.new glow plug
.clutch was ****ed so brought 3pin hub and clutch

These are problems I can think of off the top of my head. I'm really wondering weather to keep this buggy or not as I'm not sure the problems are ever gona end.

Was testing my car today after replacing the clutch and felt the clutch was slipping / not engaging fully so took appart and put the washers behind the shoes and now realised I've lost a drive shaft I'm
Not sure if this was a part of the problem. I've removed the other drive shaft and would like to take it out tomorrow if it snows. Will it be ok ran just as front wheel drive?

Receiver Ariel Wire length

How much difference in distance will a rc car work with the receiver ariel wire in the upright place to one with an ariel underneath the body shell?

I dont really like seeing the wire sticking out of the top of my rc cars. Is there any way of hiding the wire without loosing distance?

Cheers

switch for LED's

Hi all,

thought this would be best here, so here goes:

I'm in the process of kitting out my Ibex CC01 with led light, i've wired them all up and they gladly work perfect. But i've run myself in to a bit of a dilema, basically i don't have the slightest clue how to wire them to my esc using a seperate switch. I'm going to add the wires that will connect to my esc battery leads, then add a switch, which then goes to the led's. But i don't have the wiring knowledge to wire them to my 6-pin switch. Which wires go where?

Thanks, sorry no pictures to help, but you hopefully get the idea!
