  1. Bought second hand, built from a kit, I have the original box. Lots of parts recently replaced incl Axial motor and sc. Well used but amazing fun and very reliable. Not used much since TRX4 purchase. No batteries included just car and radio kit and any spares I can find for it. Cash on collection preferred. Please ask any questions. £200 Ono.
  2. I would go with an axial motor and esc set ( I got mine off eBay) great for crawling in my Axial Wraith, cheap and works great, any metal geared servo 16 kg or more will do the trick for the steering too, again, you can spend loads on both these items but I think decent performance ( for crawling) doesn't have to mean spending loads.....just my thoughts, enjoy!
  3. Right, messed with it for ages and tried different settings but still the same? Still very hit and miss with reverse, maybe works one in 8 times. Thinking of replacing esc and motor, is it worth going sensored brushless? Need to check the Lipo out with a multimeter too, not sure it is holding its charge properly. Wheel speed is surprisingly slow and doesn't have the torque I was expecting. The motor has no sticker on it though so no clue as to what it is and I haven't looked at the gearing either. Think a full stripdown may be on the cards. Maybe a 2nd hand one wasn't the bargain after all!
  4. Yeah that's it, will have a play with it tonight. Cheers!
  5. Yep, it's a Fusion Podium?
  6. Cheers but I don't have an instructions for it. I will do some research into the esc!
  7. I have just bought a second hand Axial Wraith, set up as a crawler, with a lipo battery (my first car with a lipo) when running the car it goes forwards and steers perfectly, but reverse is hit and miss. The led on the esc blinks when reverse is selected but it only goes backwards one in ten try's? Before I get a new esc and possibly change to sensored brushless is there anything else I should try first? It is currently brushed wit a Fushion esc. Im not sure how good the battery is either, the charger it came with seems to charge it ok but it doesn't have the punch I was expecting from a lipo, like I said I'm not used to them though. Any advise would be greatly appreciated, thanks Jon.
  8. I have bought one. Got it on Tuesday. Thanks for the interest though!
  9. I just emailed CML from their website, they look after FTX warranty stuff. Told them what had happened, explained the faults and two days later a new motor(outlaw) and battery(outback) landed in the post. Really impressed, was expecting to have to shell out myself.
  10. My motor went too, got a replacement very quickly from CML.(also another battery for my Outback). Looking at going brushless pretty soon though. I'm also finding the std plastic motor mount is deforming after a few loose motor screw incidents, will go aluminium mount with the brushless before it ruins the gearbox casing. But really like the truck after coming back to RC after along lay off, handling is great out the box, could just do with the umph of brushless!
  11. Hiya, no set budget. Will just see what turns up. Depends on spec and what is included. Why, do you have one? Cheers Jon.
  12. Axial Wraith, anything considered ideally a complete kit. Message me with what you have and pics please.
  13. I have emailed CML regarding warranty on both Outback and Outlaw, will see what they say. Have ordered the servo too, will keep in stock if it turns out to be ok with a properly charged battery. Found if I leave the battery hooked up to charger with the green led on it seems to keep charging, will keep an eye on it. Need to sort out an adapter so I can hook it up to my fast charger.
