  1. So sorry for the slow reply only just seen the reply. they are not ment to the rclab could take saddle pack but need to check the tc4 would need some filing to get rid of the cell holders but will hold lipos i think. not sure if there up for brushless but seen the tc4 brushless before but might be a strain on drive train and diffs. The rclab was great back in the day for to good for me is belt driven. don't think the company is about any more and parts seem imposable to find but there is a load of spares almost hole car enough to having it running minus electrics i think but is sold as seen would prefer to meet and let them see that one and all the spares but happy to post still. To everyone make me a offer you you will be surprised what i will except really need money. can deliver local to swaffham, kings lynn in norflk or can meet half way or post at your expense. If some one wants the tc4 i will chuck in the tc3 for free with any parts i have for it, not in great condition but could be useful i guess
  2. Just make sure they give you the right manual i was given the rtr manual and confused me for awhile, parts are different. manuals are easily downloaded looked at online if needed tho. also check part bags which you wouldn't think have the part in seem to stick some bits in randomly. was a fairly easy build tho and any problems i had i asked on here and were all sorted quickly.
  3. sounds good i recently got the pro kit with the .28 engine in it. its great fun and strong, not broken any thing on it yet and its been crashed plenty of times.
  4. Getting in to off road racing so last night and so far today I have been building a Schumacher couger kf2 the builds going really welll so far and very happy with the quality. No pics yet but will try and get some later.
  5. http://www.astramodel.cz/manualy/fusion/fusion-P-FS-POD12T.pdf is that it?
  6. Took the st pro out for a bash, jumped it rolled it and crashed it a lot even went straight in to a fence post at one point, not sure how it got there. But not one thing broken so very happy with that. Also cut out and started spraying a new body shell for it I got from carpi-boy.
  7. Haha very true, have got the bits to reinforce my body shell so will get that done instead tonight.
  8. Think I might be slowly getting there had it running really well. In the end I had to open the idle a fraction after making it about .3mm so I could turn the throttle trim down and after the engine was up to temp I richened the HSN to about 5-5 1/2 turns and the LSN to 3 1/2. Had good acceleration and too end and dropped rpm after full throttle then held that rpm for 10-15 seconds before dropping down again. Got it all nice and muddy again so more cleaning tonight and hopefully I will get a chance to have another go over the weekend.
  9. No air leaks on the engine, exhaust, fuel lines but there is a small one on the fuel tank lid still but that is cured by pushing it closed firmly not just letting it closed its self. I have also closed the idle so it's just a fraction bigger then .3mm. Will hopefully get to have a go seeing if that's helped tonight.
  10. Thanks agin locky, think I will go through and rule a few things out so will remove the engine then check for air leaks if there are any will fix them and check again when I'm happy there is non I will put the engine back and re check the idle gap. I have some .3mm wire so will make it a tiny little bit bigger then that so about .5mm. I will then put the needles back to stock tho in the manual it does say there both 3.75 turns out which seems a bit lean for the high end so might start that about 5 turns out and see if I can get it tuned from there. Thanks again
  11. Yeah I think it should be too rich but if I lean it a little more it seems to hold the rpm after full throttle. Unless it holding rpm is a LSN issue? This engine is confusing me quite a bit, might try and find someone local who might be able to help me with it tho don't know anyone at the moment. But think it would be easier for someone with experience to see it in person then me trying to explain it which I don't do very well. Edit, to add when I was at your settings the performance was a lot better but seemed to be too lean as it was holding rpm and sounding buzzy after letting go of the throttle, to get rid of that I had to go this rich but now it is very boggy and rough sounding, after a couple of tanks it got up to temp I guess and did lean out. Unfortunately I wasn't able to see what it was like too much after this as I had to stop.
