  1. just to update this slightly we are at arc raceway track every other Saturday all forms of rc are welcome and the track has had a fresh overhaul and is now open, click on the link that Corey originally posted for the facebook page. also we do not meet on Thursdays anymore
  2. guys at my local track said the same thing about the plug and the fact it only lasted a few heat cycles but even the best plugs don't last long after the running in period anyway
  3. rainham marshes would be the one, back in the day there used to be big rc clubs always over there, best thing to do Is ask your local parks face to face. I did this with weald park and bedfords park, I even asked them to put it in writing and I run my 1/5ths and electrics at both parks, all I need to do is give them a hours notice in case local dog walkers complain when I'm there
  4. no catch there good radios and cheap receivers, had all my 1/5ths running on it and was very good for the year I had it then a second hand dx4s came up and swapped over, still have the b and c as back ups
  5. Got the dbxl ready for its new owner next week, as I was putting the wheels on it today, realised I have spent a small fortune on it and loosing a lot of money from it oh well, Also took the sway bar of the front of my dbxl e.
  6. Going to eat my words here lol had to order the hot racing steering set up, 2 standards have broke on me, on another note not sure why the plastic in the dibby e is a different grade to the petrol version ? Also had to change the steering horn to the standard km x2 one, a lot stronger and doesn’t undo it self every 5 mins
  7. Early bday present, hope I have better luck with this then the phantom I had.
  8. when I had mine in the shed I used two latch bolts with padlocks and a door alarm, the alarm was really good and very loud, just put a good set of batteries in and will last ages. and a staffy with a nasty lock jaw lol https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B019CNLT2S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  9. Go with the km 002 best bang for buck
  10. My steering done the same but couple hours with a lipo killed it off in the end
  11. Good to see the original servos still going
  12. does seem odd with regards to the heat thing, I have people at my local track running big power in one of them and a 29 in the other and not having heat problems, one of them have swapped the shell for one of them unbreakable shells but that's it a few cut outs they have done but no where near to what you have done to your shell. don't take this the wrong way but maybe your worrying to much about the heat problem ? dam what's it going to be like in the summer months ? if you can not sort it you might as well put it up for sale again at a lower price ? to get a quick sale that is
