  1. Yo ! After a bit of advice..... would like a Landy Crawler, quite tempted with the Traxxas TRX-4 Land Rover but not quite sure yet. Would like to spend some time decking it out with other crap like lights, mud flaps etc.... I want to use it, but also make it something awesome to look at as a model. Is the Traxxas the one, or should I look at other stuff? My boy and I have an Arrma Nero and an upgraded Maverick Strada XT Evo which we have beat the crap out of, loads of fun..... defo tempted with the Kraton EXB, with perhaps a Hobbywing Combo MAX6 with the 1650KV Motor. What do you think? Cheers ! Peter
  2. Possibly, but it wouldn't have been for long. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk
  3. As far as I'm aware yes. They weren't that old, all in ballance. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk
  4. Yeah I'm a big pee'd off about it. Not very old, within a year. Overlander didn't appear to be that bothered about it when I contacted them.
  5. On the other battery with the same issue on cell 3, it has puffed slightly. I'm guess that this is perhaps an internal fault on these batteries, which I'm not going to be able to sort out?
  6. Here are a few photos. Only when plugged into the 2nd cell does it give the connection break message, the other two cells are fine. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk
  7. I did that yes, when I plugged it in it said 'Connection Error'. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk
  8. wouldn't they have puffed up, or caught fire by now if so ?
  9. On this lead, I disconnected the wire next to the black one. So No.2 on the diagram. I have two batteries with the same issue, the other one it's the 3rd cell. I'm sure it's something simple, but it's not obvious.... tempted to give up and chuck them out, but that's over £120 :-( Popping out now, will have another look later
  10. I've opened up the battery again to see if there are any corroded joints, can't see anything obvious. Unplugged the lead going to the balance plug to the cell that's not reading thinking that the lead might be broke, and it now reads 0.00 - 3.11 - 3.92 When I connect it again it goes back to 3.90 - 0.00 - 3.92
  11. Comes up as 'Connection Error' :-( Must be a break in one of the connections in the battery
  12. Right ok I will try this. Thanks Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk
  13. I have no idea why my one died, £60 odd quid brick Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk
  14. I've been in touch with overlander, who weren't much help. These batteries are over a year old now, so wasn't expecting much from them though I have another one which is only 6/7 months old and puffed for no apparent reason which they weren't interested in either. 15. Yeah the charger is fine, have run other batteries through it. Also it's a different cell on the other battery. Sent from my SM-G928F using Tapatalk
