Hi, I was wondering if their are any recommended upgrades to the Traxxas X-Maxx 8S that you would recommend doing before running it from brand new. Or is it good to go out of the box and fix it as needed. Thanks in advance, Regards, Gavin

Hi, I'm interested in people who have been using the X Maxx 8s. Not the upgraded older version, the Traxxas 8S version that's been out for about 8 months. I'm interested in how the stock truck holds up under general bashing and smaller jumps. For close to £1,000 without the batteries, I'd like to hear people's opinion on it. Also, what upgrades do you recommend and how are parts availability? Any other info. Thanks in advance, Gavin

Yes, I saw the video and the X-Maxx is pretty slow at around 30 MPH. Maybe in a month or two the glitches will be fixed. This guy likes the truck, but had problems, and possible modifications https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziGoweY43pE
