  1. Funnily enough my latest acquisition...Ultima JJ ..original body done in red plus sporting a chopped up Optima Pro body in dark blue. My pictures are terrible but here you go.
  2. Love this thread so far, I have a M04L BMW Z3 M on top of my wardrobe pretty much untouched sine 2006. All this is making me want to get it back on the road with a few upgrades obviously lol.
  3. Build looks awesome bud, I've just ordered one myself and at £379 from Modelsport it's a bit more reasonably priced. I can't wait!
  4. Here's my Tamiya Boomerang..John Player Special.
  5. Tamiya Super Hotshot wheels will fit. Here's mine.
  6. Thanks mate, the super shot wheels and tyres are awesome lol. I also like the black shocks, they go well with the grey.
  7. Got covid a couple of weeks ago so ordered another car to build over a few days to help with the boredom. Tamiya Terra Scorcher! My friend has one in boxart blue so mine is done in Tamiya PS 63 Bright Gun metal and a couple of other changes..running brushless too.
  8. Oops!! Uploaded more pics than i intended lol.
  9. Some of my buggies....all of them are runners so no real shelf Queens....pics aren't great lol.
  10. All 6061 grade chassis on 1/8th buggys, truggys will bend. My Arrma Talion was the same. When it comes to 1/8th 7075 is the way to go..far more durable. Its what you'll find in all the racing kits so why not for your basher lol.
  11. I don't jump that high or go crazy but the chassis still bended, really badly too lol. My HPI trophy buggy was the same, bent easily also and there was no 7075 upgrade for it either. Can't remember exactly but I think the 7075 chassis for the vse is about £75. Worth it!!
  12. The stock chassis in the VSe isn't that tough...6061 grade stuff...I soon bent this whilst not being too hard on it. Also as mentioned before the stock plastic suspension hangers can rip clean out. What you want are the 7075 chassis, front shock tower and aluminium suspension hangers (from the pro) then the car is a properly capable basher.
  13. i am very jealous. If you ever want to sell any of them drop me a PM. I'm starting my own Tamiya collection....so far I have a DF03, DB01, M04l, Boomerang and a DT02 in bits lol.
