  1. 4 x Lipo batteries for sale. All perfectly balanced and storage charged. Very little use, roughly 10 charge cycles, Traxxas connectors. No damage on any of them. 2 x 4000 mAh 11.1V 30C Black Magic £20 each posted 2 x 7600 mAh 7.4V 40-80C Turnigy (Suitable Traxxas 2869 replacement) - £30 each posted.
  2. I have removed the LiPo batteries from the bundle as I am now selling these separately. Price is now £300 delivered by DPD.
  3. For sale is my E-Revo 56087-1. I have owned it from new but it has seen little use and has been very well looked after. I am funding an e-bike so it has got to go unfortunately! I have upgraded the drive shafts. It comes with everything in the pictures (except the Hyperion charger) including a Castle Link module for programming the ESC, an unused set of wheels, two new servos and servo arms (I haven't tested them so they are sold as seen but I have no reason to suspect they won't work) - if you want to upgrade the servos you will need to install a BEC to drive them I believe, but only one servo is needed. also included are the original NiMH batteries and NiMH charger - unused, and various other bits and bobs. NOTE: Included are 2 NiMH batteries and the standard charger that comes with this car. It is capable of running 2 x 3S LiPo batteries which will enable it to reach speeds of up to 75MPH. Please read the instructions or consult a model expert if you are not familiar with LiPo battery operation and management as there is a risk of fire if they are not handled properly. For safety the ESC controller will be shipped with the Low Voltage Protection enabled but if you are only intending to use NiMH batteries this can be disabled by following the instructions in the manual which I have printed out and is included. I'm looking for about £300 delivered, or best offer, for everything - it has to go... Any questions please ask. Thanks for looking. See pics for details (sorry they all need rotating by 90 degrees. I did rotate them on my laptop but when the uploaded they were back the wrong way again...🙄).
  4. I bought my Arrowmax here: http://www.activescalemodels.co.uk/index.php?route=product/search&search=arrowmax
  5. +1 for Arrowmax. I've had mine for 3 years and no signs of wear yet. Not heavily used and I take care of them. They weren't too pricey either.
  6. Received this rather natty little guitar from China which housed three replacement LiPos for my Syma Helicopter
  7. I was wondering if anyone would care to recommend the best Castle replacement for the Traxxas MXL-6s? I am looking at the Castle as I already have the Castle Link for the MXL and it would be a shame to abandon it. The Mamba X looks to be suitable but can anyone advise? Thanks
  8. So.... I bought a slightly used Traxxas 2075 servo and fitted alongside the remaining working one and there is no Rx dropout. This is really odd because I have seen plenty of videos on YT of people swapping to a single servo and not one mentions having to fit a separate BEC. Guns has also done it using the same brand and power of servo that I have used. I have emailed Traxxas..... In the mean time would anyone who owns a brushless 1/10 Revo with an MXL-6S ESC be interested in testing one of the Power HD servos for me and video the result? I will pay shipping. Thanks
  9. You may well be right but I would like to find he root cause if poss. I might get a BEC and try it so thanks for the advice. Something is clearly not right though. I wonder if the ESC might be a bit fried as it did overheat and shut down when the servo motor failed. The Rx could be fried also as I am guessing a load of current was going through it and it does not have any protection circuitry AFAIK. Does anyone have any advice regarding that?
  10. Thanks, I can't believe that a top of the range Traxxas model can't even run one higher spec servo without causing issues. The servo itself will work on any thing from 4.7v (from memory) up to 6.6v. I don't want to be adding a BEC though really if I can avoid it.
  11. Those are my 3S Black Magics :-) , I also have a pair of Turnigy nano-tech 7600mah 2S 40-80C but it does the same with them plugged in. Elec brushless Revo. I also upped the output voltage from the inbuilt BEC to 6v from 5.5 (using Castle Link) but this made no difference either.
  12. OK, a bit more info. I have tried operating the throttle at the same time as the steering and when the red light on the Rx comes on the motor stops as well. Also when I plug both Power HD servos in the issue is a whole lot worse. It seems as though the failsafe on the RX is cutting in because it thinks the voltage is too low. This is not the LiPo LVC but the failsafe that returns the throttle to zero. I have tried disabling the LVC and the issue remains. So what's at fault here? Servos (drawing too much current?) Rx failsafe kicking in too early (not sure if the ESC dictates this or the RX itself) or ESC (really hope not as a new one is over £200)? If it is the ESC thoiugh I would hope that Traxxas would repair/replace it for free. The car is nearly 2 years old but has had less than 15 hours run time and is looked after extremely well. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
