  1. Thanks, sorry for the tonne of questions. I've finished using it, recon almost at the good spot of tuning. I heard what almost sounded like an electric motor accelerating. What could it be? Sorry for another one. When Turning the flywheel by hand, it ticks at tdc?
  2. Quick question... After I refuel a tank, do I need to reprime it?
  3. so i just turn back the needle until its sitting flush?
  4. I have messed around with the HSN a bit, and i want to start tuning again properly now I have learnt a bit more. Sound really stupid for asking this but how do I return the needle to stock setting? it's a HPI trophy 4.6 (i think this is the same as the Savage X 4.6 engine) and if anyone knows the factory needle settings that'd be great
  5. I will respray them but is there a way to stop it happening e.g. primer
  6. I have a 4.6 Trophy Truggy and the excess oil spray from the exhaust has rubbed the black paint off the wheels on that side! I will probably repaint them as i like the black wheels, but anyway to protect them so it doesn't happen again?
  7. Roughly how many 1/8 turns? I understand it will differ but is it roughly more or less than a full turn round?
  8. What is the easiest way to tell when HSN is at it's peak? I unfortunately have 5 litres of RTR Optifuel, so it's very smokey and that doesn't really tell me when it's perfect. Also, I have adjusted it (say one end of the HSN needle is at 12, it is now around 8, like on a clock), how many spins do I roughly do? Would the easiest way be waiting till it cuts out at full throttle then tune down from there?
  9. Sony Vegas is apparently very good
  10. There is Splice on itunes, not sure if its on Android but its good enough bearing in mind its free, also has some add on's which you can pay for
  11. Thank you Tamiyacowboy that's the answer in looking for, of course I've tried tipping it upside down, just need to get rid of those tiny ones jammed inbetween
  12. Was using nitro in a gravel/loose stone car park, a few tiny stones are now around the glow plug and heatsink, If i remove the glow plug i don't want grit to fall in the engine, whats the easiest way to remove them?
  13. Can you actually get negative offset wheels?
  14. Is there any setup i can have to fit a 190mm bodyshell on my 200mm chassis? Like a certain type of wheel? The shell is this one to be exact: http://www.radshaperc.com/product/1-10th-toyota-corolla-ae86-drift-bodyshell-190mm The chassis is the Maverick Strada DC EVO: http://www.modelsport.co.uk/maverick-strada-dc-evo-rtr-drift-car/rc-car-products/38128
