  1. Jet pro, cpi or ddm are the only real options for the blackout, with the ddm being the easiest to get a hold of. Any exhaust that you put on will make it a lot louder but it really needs it as in stock form the trucks pretty slow. keep us posted if you get the kraken cage to work
  2. Redcat is an American company and has a good amount of customers on various Facebook pages. I see posts on the Everest frequently on there.

Not too much if I can help it. I don't drop my mods often(maybe 10 times max in my 3yrs of vaping) but the last two istick 100's I've had have both broke by the 510 connector detaching. The first time I was stood on a bloody bridge and nearly lost my tank in the canal lol so only have my x cube ultra ATM. i shall give the alien a look

So my istick 100w has packed in, looking for a dual 18650 regulated replacement. Any ideas guys?
  5. I've never felt the need to spoof(gps hack) but if the trading feature doesn't happen then I may just have to so I can get the region locked Pokemon. I'm currently level 30 with 650k stardust and 130 on the pokedex. I have enough candy to get the last 12 bar geodude who's at 97/125 candy. btw what teams you guys on?

  7. Hi and welcome to the forum. hypers are great cars and parts are cheap and readily available. head over to the nitro section and have a browse, where you'll find a remedy for your 'million miles an hour' issue. As for the glow start I always keep a few glow plugs in the tool box so I can check if it's charged.
  8. Very nice indeed rav! didnt see you at the weekend dude, was looking forward to a duel again on the 1/8 track lol.
  9. Level 23 pokedex seen 85 caught 85 strongest Pokemon is a 1750cp lapras from a 10k egg strongest evolved Pokemon is a 1400cp slowbro
  10. Blackout FTW lol you must inform me if your ever out and about near Leicester with it. Would love to see it in person.
  11. Yep. And jynx looks like mr mime in drag
  12. Caught 2 mr mimes at the weekend
  13. Yeah I was trying to take it easy on the throttle to stop the motor from moving. Not hit full throttle with it yet but I'm not expecting it to be fast on the current gearing. personally I think blackouts are a great truck. I think because Maverick/redcat/himoto are considered 'budget' brands it gets overlooked by many. I find it a doddle to work on and have not broken any parts to date. though like all rc's, they're not perfect lol..... Stock servos are junk, out of the box it's a little slow and the bodyshell will crack/break/shatter if you look at it wrong . I've also had trouble with losing or snapping dog bone pins on the front petrol powered truck. Probably my own fault though as the diffs must be bone dry as I'm yet to service them.
  14. Oh hell yeah I'll be ramping it. ive just put some 12.9 m4 X 16 bolts with a dab of the red stuff so hopefully that should keep the motor in place. Yeah the mechanical noise is loud lol. Surprising how much racket the tyres make too with the absence of an engine.
