  1. Have a look at Wearside Bash and Trash on facebook Cheers Dave :)
  2. What light flash is the killswitch making, it tells u why its cut off. Check end points on channel 3. Try with both servos disconnected, then if it runs okay connect one at a time if its a low battery cut out, could be an old tired battery or servo. If its a range cut out then check the battery and range of the tx/rx If its ****ed then try Jolly Roger on here as he makes them. Cheers Dave
  3. Can't see that in 25mm ID, anyone drop a link on here for it Cheers Dave :)
  4. Ordered this as it has the highest heat rating I could find, gonna give it a try see if it lasts longer than the last stuff.www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Silicone-Heater-Radiator-Hose-Coolant-Car-Engine-Pipe-Silicon-Rubber-New/290841193823?hash=item43b77c6d5f:g:A3UAAOSw~oFXFH2Z:rk:1:pf:0CheersDave :)
  5. Very interested in this as i have the same issue on my DBXL, tried a couple of pipe options and tried wrapping joint with exhaust heat wrap but this didn't give the rigidity needed. Got to be a fix out there Cheers Dave :)
  6. Have a look for Wearside Bash and Trash on facebook Cheers Dave
  7. Mate i get you with the kit form which is a great learning aid but trust me, after a year of owner ship you will know every nut and bolt anyway, quite a bit of hands on engineering knowledge required. Diffs need doing every year, bearings need doing every year, servos go tits up and on and on ........... Find a local group on here or on Facebook and turn up, pick a few brains, see where they run and what they run, may give you a better idea if you want 2WD or 4WD, never had 2 WD myself and watching them they need a lot more skill to drive around a track but are great fun too. Oh and don't buy any real cheap stuff as it is generally awful, stick with the main brands. Cheers Dave
  8. All the Losi 5B and 30 degree north buggies I have come across have had overheating issues due to the too compact design. Not sure if you want 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive, 2 WD drive Baja can be had new for £375 to £575 from RCmodelz, 4 WD look at Losi 5T or 30 dgree north truck or DBXL, dbxl will need alloy gearboxes if not already fitted. Please be prepared for bash, break, fix, repeat cycle that we all go through, so tools and consumables are a must. Not sure if you are buying new but a well looked after, upgraded with useful alloy bits used one may be a good buy too. Cheers Dave

  12. Was on when i got it, assumed its a mod to stop chassis flex, its a big solid lump of stainless plate. Dave
  13. Winter overhaul all done, all brgs, diffs, track rod ends upgraded to 6mm, modded the brakes so they don't self adjust. just waiting for 1 small bit Cheers Dave
  14. Have a look here https://www.facebook.com/groups/1556356624632724/ Cheers Dave
