  1. Ressurecting this as I had too much going on and didn't have time to attend to this sale. Need this gone and therefore...PRICE CHANGE! £400 or nearest offer 👍
  2. Hi, sorry for not getting back to you sooner, ultimately I would like to sell it all together but if I do end up splitting I'll keep you in mind. If I don't get any interest by end of next week I'll start to split ??
  3. Just added more images, let me know if you need any more pictures or information!!!
  4. Hi Buzz, Sorry ive only just seen this, I've just checked my inbox and it's apparently full, I have deleted a few conversations so you should be able to PM me now. Regarding your question about the mamba monster ESC, it is not the waterproof version, I bought it before they released the waterproof version, was so gutted!! But to be honest it's never worried me because I've always run it during the dry and muddy days, never really in the wet. The shell always protected it from the mud. I will try and add the other pictures tonight for you, I have taken some more of just the savage on its own so you can get a better look. If can't figure out how to get past the "error 200" in the msuk gallery then I'll email you them directly ?? Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions ?? Thanks Dan
  5. Thanks, I do want to sell it all together, but I'll keep that in mind if I do end up splitting ?
  6. Hi All, Unfortunately the time has come to sell my beloved savage flux HP, along with all its accessories, spares and tools. It started off as a savage flux HP roller, I then fitted it with brand new HPI 2200kv tork flux motor and brand new CC mamba monster (from an e-revo I think) - this was back in 2013. I have always run this beast on 6s and never had any issues. I have stripped it down part by part and have given it a good clean and have serviced the rear diff 2 months ago. Everything is in perfect working order and is RTR. A few things to note - I have reversed the battery compartments for ease of access to the battery, but this can easily be swapped back over. The only part that I think will need replacing is the body shell, it is very worn, I still use it as a dust protection when bashing, I just never got round to replacing it. I will be including the tools which I bought specifically for this savage, so this will be great for anyone who is just getting into this hobby. Currently, as the savage stands, I have kept it stock with the exception of the below upgrades: Savox Servo 1256TG Traxxas TQI 2.4g receiver + transmitter Integy 12mm hex hub extension including locking caps. 23T (or 22T I cant remember) pinion - but I do have a 19T and 20T pinion gears as shown in photos which you can use if preferred. Proline BIG JOES II 3.8 on F11 1/2 offset wheels - these are a recent upgrade and have only been used about 4 times. Plenty of tread. Other than these the savage is stock. Other items included in the sale (upgrades/spares and other items): - Proline Sand Paws 3.8 on desperado's with a half offset. These have only every been used on two runs back in 2015. Plenty of use in them. 7x stock wheels which all can be used. 4x Haboa hyper 7 wheels (pictured on top of the standard wheels in the picture) CC BEC x2 - I wanted to solder this up after upgrading to the Savox servo but never got round to it. Turnigy Quad 4x6s Lipo charger - comes with all the balance cables and bullet connector adapters that you need to charge lipos. Also comes with the HK power unit that you need to run it. Imax B6 charger - this works perfectly, it does however the negative input cable has broken - but this is only used for powering the charger from a car battery. I do have the power unit and plug for this. 4x 3s Lipo's - 3 are Turnigy 3s 5000mah 40c, the other is a zippy 5000mah 50c. All have been kept on storage charge and balanced charged every time. ONLY 2 of the Turnigy 3s 5000mah 40c lipo's are in perfect condition. The third only registers as a 2s and so needs some attention. stock spares - stock servo, complete set of toe links (plus a few upgraded ones with thicker plastic), axles including bearing, shock springs, outer diff housing (bulk head?) and a few other small pieces. A few purple aluminum upgrades shown in pictures, including servo horn upgrade. Silver Aluminium shock tower. Purple RPM upper arms (no lower arms, cant seem to find them i'm afraid ) Diff spares from when the rear diff decided to eat itself. I replaced it with a complete bullet proof diff and I have kept in a tub the remains of the old diff which includes gears and case which can be used as spares. Spare TVP (one side only) A variety of spare screws & pins - I also have a tin full of screws, pins, washers etc which can be used also (collection of screws from a previous savage, revo and E-max) theres a few shock oils, some of which are brand new. Turnigy 7.5kg servo (TGY-2509MG) two traxxas TQI receivers where the antena has broken above the metal. This still work but range is limited. I kept these as spares to repair them but never got round to it. Core RC magnetic Parts Tray HPI Large rubber pit mat Hobby King Lipo voltage checker I am pricing this at £400 or will accept offers. This will need to be collection only as there is too much to ship. I am located in Kettering Northamptonshire. Please let me know if you have any questions
  7. Hi All, I am looking for the stop traxxas summit body shell including the exo shell. Preferable the new one with the decals on them. Thanks, Dan
  8. Makes sense. Additional BEC it is then, thanks AJ
  9. I thought servo's were rated by voltage, for example the savox 1256 at 6V produces 20kg and at 4.8V 14kg?
  10. Hi All, From a recent post I was recommended to use a BEC when upgrading to a savox 1256 servo. So my castle BEC came this week and using the castle link I have changed the settings to an output of 6v (didnt want to go any higher to be on the safe side). As I had the castle link out I thought I might check out the settings for my mamba monster. Anyway as I was flicking through I noticed that you can changed the BEC voltage output on the BEC!!!! Voltage settings range from 5v - 7v. Although I am a bit confused about this option as when I looked at the castle website about my MM specs and it says it has a fixed output of 5.5 volts (link below) http://www.castlecreations.com/products/mamba_monster.html my MM is not the new waterproof version so the specs above should apply to my MM. So do you think it would be ok to change the settings for the stock BEC in the MM or would this not work? my MM was taken from a new revo in 2012 Thanks, Dan
  11. Thanks for sharing this link, great stuff very helpful I think after reading this a BEC is the safest thing to do if I am to spend
  12. I used the hex hubs from hyper 7 and pins fit perfectly, I dont know the size but maybe this will point you in the right direction
  13. I wont be aiming too high, I dont really want to spend much on a servo. the stock one is only 7kg in savage so double the amount should be good enough? say round 15kg like this one: http://www.modelsport.co.uk/alturn-usa-high-performance-race-servo-ultra-high-torque-/rc-car-products/371394
  14. great thanks, that looks like a perfect solution So this plugs straight into the receiver, then I wont have to worry about any servo glitching?
