My interest is peaked but then I saw the non adjustable arms. Could be good if they had the SCTE front end on a Yeti Score back end.

Why is the RC world moving towards live rear axles??

Undecided.... Wonder how bad it would handle without AVC?

    Yeti Score rival, then.

Noj, a nod towards realism, I guess? That's all well and good, I'm sure you'll be loving it... sliding, jumping, bashing... up until the point where a Losi SCTE rails right around the outside of you, mid-corner, and there's not a damn thing you can do about it!

Prae, since 2012 and buying my first Slash, I longed for proper realism in terms of chassis layout, IFS and live rear axles...then suddenly, they all come along at once!

Such a pity there's no decent desert or sand dunes in West Yorkshire to make the most of them.... ;)

I don't think they'll even be in the same league. This Losi looks like is has no way of adjusting camber or toe in the front. Not to mention the plethora of spares and options for the Score. This car does look like it has some good design features though like the accessible motor mount, the opening for the ESC fan and some dirt guards for the front wheels so it doesn't kick back into the chassis. However, check the battery connectors, that isn't a very cleaver idea.

But it's got brake disks and callipers like a Drifter, so it has to be cool!

    Possibly cheaper than a Vekta....

    Oh, hang on a mo....:P

Would get you the live rear axle fix though ;)

Possibly not, although the pricing might be different, to reflect that. One thing that may in the the Losi's favour, is that Axial trucks often need money spent on them, to become reliable. The Losi COULD be strong enough from the crate. I will admit, though... if it were my money, I'd probably buy the Score.

liking the quick access motor and battery slots but seems your stuck with ec3 (i'm sure it could be fettled but may have trouble holding a different connector in?)

hang on a minute what's going on here?

Perfect for me, I use ec3's, sure a small adapter would work although might look unsightly.....

Hmmm, I guess if the Score has the handling issues associated with the original Yeti platform, then this could be an ideal alternative.

Nobody (including Axial) seems to be able to confirm the above though.

Next you know, they'll be installing a Traxxas-style self-righting for it!!

    That'll be fun!!

Modelsport listing this for £349, cheaper than the Axial Score. I'd have one at that price tbh.

A trip out to East Yokshire and the beach perhaps?

What the chances of a rock snagging the connector and ripping it off.

Ide get the score over this just for the body plus the score is 1/8 size of the hpi apache or Ae sc8 which justifies the extra price of the score.

I'm just let down on the score king shocks I thought they'd be some of the best rtr shocks around but an rr10 owner told me he wasn't happy with them and their plastic not metal as I thought.

The yeti score is quite a bit smaller than the Apache was, almost same footprint as the wraith which is smaller than the slash.......

as as for the connector, I'd be looking for the back axle before the battery plugged pulled out (provided acres of cable are not tucked away.....
