Same old crappy wheel nuts.... I'm kinda interested in this, I've put in for a email update for when they come in to stock at MS, so we will wait and see what I decide :good:

That body looks like it's meant for the XS...!!!  Nice truck though. Speaking to our LHS owner yesterday and he was telling me about how Ripmax bought HPI Europe for nought, well they did take on their debt liability which was fairly large. Just hope ripmax can make HPI great again, with trucks like this and the Blitz they have some solid established models to build on.

I've just looked through the manual and tbh HPI are lazy, there's nothing really different from the Flux I had over 5+ years ago.... I'm out

Funny, the only thing I noticed was ... the short shell!

Should be a good truck with such a well-proven chassis.

Basically, is this the so-called 'giant Savage to rival the X-Maxx'?

Something was mentioned a few months ago I think.

Hmmm, could I have the electrics out of this in a xmaxx?

bit disappointing after such a long wait I have to say....

still using ancient wheel hubs that are now vastly outdated, got a proper whiff of tamiya about it

Why would you want these electrics in an XMaxx?

I was waiting for ages for this to show its face and now it has I think someone needs to put it back in the box and then go and think about what they have done. What an utter shame

Cause Theyre 8th scale? And would last about 5 minutes? The KV is far too high for such a huge truck like the x Maxx

The same electrics are in the 5sc flux, with the right gearing they would do just fine in the Xmaxx
