It's the same chassis and the FTX Outback... I think the FTX has far better body options, the ranger shell is excellent...

    Mmm, what scale is this?

doesnt look like a true 10th scale.

if it's classed as a mini rock crawler I could very well be interested......only if it's 18th scale though.

    any ideas on prices?

    Looks 'wrong'.

Body too small, too much rubber.

    Probably pretty good for crawling.

Might look better with a Bronco body on it.

Sounds great ecx is Americas ftx isn't it. So it'll probably be easier for us to get the better bodies.

This would be a great rc for kids starting out not fast enough to break, rescues itself from the thorn bushes. So long as it's mechanically sound and we'll supported this will kill off the scout surly.

The ecx has half decent tyres and the ftx offering has what look like proline flat irons......

    Received mine today.

Initial impressions are good, proper layout with battery over the front axle, Quicrun 1060 Esc, Spektrum servo (which is as smooth as silk and silent as the grave).

We all know this and the Outback are identical chassis', this just feels nicer in the hand. Will get pics up later....
