Arrma release sneaky pics of there new trucks

Question is are they 1/10th scale are they 1/8th scale or are they 1/6th scale to compete against the X Maxx maybe ?

I quite like the idea personally. A gimmick it may be but its not exactly Xmaxx re-righting rubbish is it? A few bits of flint in there for sparks isnt exactly a deal killer...

Something that would genuinely be useful (if it didn't kill the diffs) vs sparks from flints? Guess we know the target market for this (Americans..)

I expect Arrma have done their homework and used some bloody thick oil in the centre diff - front tyres don't seem to be ballooning too badly on 6s ftom the vids i've seen tbh.

With the provision for lighter flints for sparks it's like Arrma have designed it specifically for skatepark bashing.

It's a gimmick and one I think even they feel might be a little too far as that's the only reference so far I've seen of it ..

Atleast it might work and not cost you a fair few quid to put right unlike the self eating diff button on the X Maxx lol

This new Outcast is full of gimmicks like the balance lead cover ! What's wrong with a good old elastic band to hold your leads down ;)

Its most certainly aimed at the street basher / skatepark brawler rather than anything else..

As long as it's fun without the headache of eating its drivetrain I reckon they won't keep up with sales come the summer if they adjusted there crazy pricing that is ;)

That flint thing will last for all of 5 seconds, assuming you crash it on the right surface. Hardly something to get excited about. But that lead cover, I like that. Even cable ties are a necessary evil. Rubber bands are just a travesty.
