    UK RC Expo - December 2016 NEC (and Drone Show)

    Straight from the horse's (facebook) mouth;

    This year's @ukdroneshow @NEC in early December will also feature a new, separate RCCarZone. Let that sink in for a second. A dedicated, 2 day RC Car Expo right here in the UK, just weeks before Xmas & designed to highlight and promote the hobby to the correct demographic of new and existing ‪#‎Tech‬ and ‪#‎Hobby‬ fans.

    It will showcase what's cool in the industry, have a big retail offering and feature cross over tech like ‪#‎FPV‬ surface vehicles and in conjunction with the ‪#‎BRCA‬ have regular races and product demos. The whole RCCar.Zone Magazine team will be on hand with review vehicles, current builds and a few innovative surprises.

    We are pleased to announce that Ivan Carisma and Carisma Racing have confirmed their stand and will be leading the way, inspiring new and existing RC car fans with their amazingly realistic RTR cars and setting the scene for 2017 by inviting all their key industry contacts in the EU to discuss the year ahead, almost 2 full months before Nuremberg Toy Fair!

    Other brands, distributors and retailers will be announced very soon...but the space is filling up fast!

    If you want to get involved please contact the team on: [email protected] or via the UKDS websites contact page here: http://www.ukdroneshow.com/contact-us.html

    Stay tuned for further announcements...

    Only a tenner each.. £40 in Diesel, £60 plus food/drink, sounds like a great day out to me, last time I was at the NEC was for a bike show, so I know how big it is and if it's packed with stalls, I can't really think of a better way to spend a day (aside from a reptile expo :P )

    Not if you end up buying something lol.

    Probably cheaper by car for us anyway, my Dads car usually averages about 55-58mpg on the motorway, other week he got 235 miles from £20.. It'd be great to finally meet you in person though Tim! :)

    Parking is a pita at the NEC, if I go by train I can get a lift to Aberystwyth and don't need to be outside till I get back ^_^

    Yeah, be good to meet you too chap.

    Be a PITA on the train for us without a local line, it'd mean changing loads, so we'll just drive, my Dad will know somewhere to park... Being a coach driver for 30 years has it's advantages when it comes to finding places to park :lol:

    I wondered that myself so I've fired them an E-Mail.

    I'd only be going for the day not the weekend but it would be good to know which day is going to be best for ground/surface stuff.

    Shall post what they say if/when they reply.

    It would be faster to drive to Gatwick, get on a plane, fly to Nuremburg and go to the expo there. I am actually tempted to get to Nuremburg looking at it that way.
