New to rc cars, hi

Hi all, 

After my son had a nitro a few years back which I used to enjoy having a go of on a Sunday afternoon on the local Costco car park, and my daughter buying her partner a 1/5 petrol at Christmas and having a play with that, I've treated myself today.  

 

As as a first timer, my budget couldn't quite run to an hpi baja, so did a little internet research and have gone for a 1/5 KM 002 with a few upgrades.  Hoping to get out with it over the weekend on a local field.

 

I'm in the Manchester area, anyone know of any decent places to run the cars (daughters partner as well) in the North West?

There used to be a group met on the land just near Three Sisters track.  I never went to a meet but raced many times at this track, so I assume it was the land on the left opposite where the factory unit fire was?
