Davy Crockett
CC01 was what got me into scalers and my G4 disco is still a favourite. had an unbuilt chassis and just needed a shell, luckily won another new bright disco on eBay. unfortunately it was covered in fake 'mud' tried all sorts to shift it and fast forward to shell stripped and primer sprayed Tried to save headlights but lenses were too clouded so made new ones from clear plastic, black surrounds made from same stuff covered in insulation tape Body shell sprayed up, bits refitted, fastrax wheels painted silver and test sit on chassis More pics as build progresses

Davy Crockett
Grabbed the dremel and took the plunge to cut out front windows.....this might end in tears! ? drew round windscreen for a template before I cut it and made a new screen from clear plastic fitted back into shell for a quick look... needs cleaner trimming before clear window(s) fitting. Undecided whether to leave front windows open or add clear and give them a light tamiya smoke spray.... My G4 has roof rack and scale bits etc but this one is going to be more 'stock'
