Problem with my Firestorm 10t G3.0 starting

Hey guys, iv been having a problem with my nitro car recently with starting the thing. I have been reading up everywhere for a solution but all that kept coming up was the one way bearing needed to be changed, so I went out and brought one but yet nothing the problem is still happening. If i was to guess it has to do with the compression or something because it will start to to turn over but then it stops gripping again and I don't know how to fix this. Iv moved over to trying to use a quick starter but its just not catching to turn over, can someone help me please

It could be the pin that sits in the crankshaft 

You need to take the backplate of the engine and have a look ,Sometimes the pin snaps or gets stuck in the end.

Some say to use very fine emery paper on the shaft where the bearing sits to remove the glaze that forms from the oils in the fuel.

I think that it is the pin, iv opened up the engine and the pin seems to sit to far in and not come out enough to catch the groove. Will ordering another one of these be an easy fix?
