Atec-Neil Posted September 26, 2016 Share Posted September 26, 2016 (edited) Morning all, I brought a 5000mAh Lipo this weekend and for the life of me I can't work out what ampage I need to charge it at. The battery is an Reaction 5000mAh 30C 3c charger Rate 2S 7.4V (sorry if this is silly question, I'm green to the lipo world). On my charger I have the option to charge at 0.5A, 1A, 1.5A, 2A 2.5A or 3A. What one do I need? Any help would be much appreciated! b19jas Posted September 26, 2016 Share Posted September 26, 2016 Ideally charge at 5a but it would seem you have a 3a max charger. It's no biggie but will take about 1.5 hrs to balance charge as opposed to about an hour with a 5a charger. I balance charge every time. Takes a little longer but lipos live longer.
