Posted September 26, 2016 Share Posted September 26, 2016 First off which lorry you got? you can get lipos in stick pack flavour should you wish. ive been running lipos in trucks for a few years, even with the mfu01 fitted and still no issues. NuttyProfessor Posted September 27, 2016 Share Posted September 27, 2016 a 2s lipo fully charged is 8.4v, a fully charged 6 cell NiMh is 9v so a lipo is slightly lower but because its a constant discharge, it has more of a power reserve. Get a cheap lipo alarm, plug it into the balance port of the LiPo and your off. 20 min runtimes from a nimh will possibly double with a lipo. Posted September 27, 2016 Share Posted September 27, 2016 Check the specs of the mfu03 against the 01 but should be same unit with different sound (euro as oppose to American) they dont have lvc so you would need a separate lvc alarm. stick pack lipo is the way to go though, I had a Orion lipo that fit perfect and snug in the truck battery box Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
