Maverick desert wolf shocks

Hi,

One of the rear shocks has broken on the Desert Wolf. As I have to replace them is there a sensible upgrade for the shocks. I can see a aluminium set listed specifically for the wolf but everywhere is out of stock.

Would the below as an example be any good?

Thanks

Alex

whats the measurements of your current shocks? most measure this centre to centre on mounting holes but some measure total length. then type "x length 8th rc buggy shocks into google. normally buy them in pairs as fronts will be shorter than the rears (i dont know of a case where this differs). threaded ally is best but avoid uber cheap non branded shocks that have no spares availability (my preference, some may say otherwise)

What part of the shock has gone? bits are cheap and in stock, why not repair and wait for the right ones?

:)

The broken part is cheapo plastic shock body so thought now is the time to upgrade as I can see the part breaking again.

First day of running my desert wolf and the transmitter stuck on reverse when testing. Ran it into someones gate and cracked the top of the shock. Think im going to purchae the aluminium shocks from MS.

Might aswell make sure it won't happen again
