Had this delivered today

 

 

 

She won't stay stock for long, I've got a few parts ready to fit...

 

Bartolone G340 engine

Hitec HS1000sgt 110kg steering servo with 4s 3600mah lipo

Killer RC Super Bee and voltage regulator 

 

Ive also taken delivery of few other parts today, now to crack out the tools!

I do love the color scheme of the new 5ive, one of the best looking RTR's around imo....... wasn't keen on the old black and white look.

The crank is +1mm? The G340 is +2mm over the G320 so confused?

You are right its a +2, been a while since I fitted it so forgot the number lol

Very nice got mine in March first thing go was engine and pipe as I also had a g340 think it's very similar to yours and changed stock receiver and transmitter to a futaba 3pl got rid of that AVC and of course kill switch it's slowly emptying my wallet.

Those servo's seem to be out of stock every where now so I got a spectrum 9020 for steering

I've had mine for about 9months, it's now been replaced but the HS-1200, same servo but it's waterproof

Nice , but expensive spent the difference on hop ups but if you've got it use it dam good servo mate , I've already spent over a grand on hop ups  worth it though can't help it it's a disease.

Find it a lot easier to work on than the DBXL and baja. Couldn't believe how big it was.

That's what I've done, still need to sort a exhaust and gearing, but no one has the exhaust I want in stock, so I spoke to Bartolone racing and they are going to sort me a raw silenced g320 pipe

Yeh I've got the bartolone g320 tuned pipe in Crome not cheap though got it from Ddm ,stock gearing what gearing you going for.

Cool, I've now got a TTO (rpm counter) and a GPS, so I can do some proper testing and report back what I find

Started the wiring, but can't finish it as the stock connectors on the switch won't work with the electrics for the Hitec 1000, tbh I'll probably make up a custom switch because the 22awg wires arent really suitable for 4s and 10amps+

Bartolone Clutch carrier

Bartolone Mesh plate 

Bartolone Engine clutch case

 

Thats it for now

Gotta stop look at Modifed RC parts tho, or this could get very expensive
