Great turn out to Damages were , lost shock spring retainer And a damaged wish bone ( did when a friend was having a go And smashed a brand new wheel clean of the hex he he he But it was bitter cold My son snapped two rear right hubs , and bent a drive shaft but in fairness it was an excellent day Some new lipos for next season are a must , bigger and better lol Also a new wing , and a shell I think Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And chairman of club he set the seed to advertise thd carisma to swap tod another mini 8 Made sense , I have almost a car in spares! There solid to and I know the car well So off to oople and sales section here , withing 2 mins my mate rings me, bammmmmmmmm We swapped as he was looking for a for a donner car for the gt14b pro conversion His mini 8 had only seen 2 club meets , consisted of carbon shock towers , spare standard shock towers and alloy hinge pin holders up front He also included 2 gen ace lipos used just once aswell and I parted with 30 quid his direction to ! Here's the carisma all ready And now my new Losi Ohhhhhh I chucked in an extra tenner and got a spur kit , wish bones , and unopened hardware set !!! Bargain And best thing was we were both happy The car also had a wrapped carbon look chassis , Also a carbon steering link After initial check over , quick rebuild of shocks etc , refit esc / motor and radio gear Aldo lexan wing fitted and carisma servo Servo was hard work as it has no mounting lugs Measuring up and some worn pins My youngest trying to help Squaring up next to dads, also I pinch some bits lol Pinched thd new batteries for me and modded my electrics to fit And in its glory Butttttttt to common!! There we go that's better !!!! He's told me he wants a red shell thou !! And here's his instal and batts All in all a nice car for a kid who's not even 5 untill October. To go dlong with his 1/8 Losi 8 e And heresa vid of Him running in the garden , I know ! It won't be used outside again but he was excited Provisonal were racing at Swindon this week , but if not were racing micro In pontyates new venue in south Wales It's all weather dependant thou !!!! They made the car handle massively better on slippy floor. I think its just due to the bigger holes in the pistons tbh but they look sexy too really smooth aswell. Pearce Posted June 8, 2012 Author Share Posted June 8, 2012 Little update My sons new shell He wanted a tiger , done with rattle cans lol I stripped the carbon shock towers from it and sold to danbmx as the metal is a safer more solid bet as he's still not 5 yet lol I was looking at b44 springs in the rear of this , I found that the fronts fit , I wanted the front b44 browns that were soft on the rear ,,,,,, but seeing as there's no indoor for a few months I'll hold off tbh Got myself some cool yellow and blue rims to run next season to for my own car .
